According to the data table below, travel on all roads and streets in Nebraska in April 2021 increased 70 percent, or 761 million miles, compared to the same month a year ago. This was probably due to less travel during the pandemic. April travel was 10.1 percent, or 169 million miles, more than in March.
It can be seen in Figure 1 below that miles traveled in April 2021 were higher than the miles traveled in April 2020 and more than the miles traveled in March 2021. April travel was above the five–year range and also above the five–year average.
