According to the data table below, travel on all roads and streets in Nebraska in February 2022 increased 13 percent, or 186 million miles, compared to the same month a year ago. This was probably due to less travel during the pandemic. February travel was 8.5 percent, or 127 million miles, more than in January.
It can be seen in Figure 1 below that miles traveled in February 2022 were higher than the miles traveled in February 2021 and more than the miles traveled in January 2022. February travel was near the upper boundary of the five–year range and higher than the five–year average.
