Nebraska Gasoline and Diesel Prices

For the week of October 30, Nebraska's average gasoline price increased two cents per gallon from the previous week to $2.26, which was two cents lower than the price at this time last year. This week, average prices in surveyed cities ranged from $2.18 in Columbus to $2.32 in Lincoln. As of October 27, the Midwest gasoline stock level was in the normal range with 50.3 million barrels.

Nebraska's average diesel price had at no change at $2.58 per gallon. According to the weekly price report, this week's state average was 43 cents lower than the price at this time last year. Weekly averages in the surveyed cities ranged from $2.52 in North Platte to $2.62 in Kearney. On the supply side, the Midwest distillate fuel inventory level was at the bottom boundary of the normal range with 22.1 million barrels of diesel fuel as of October 27.

Regular unleaded gasoline is regular unleaded motor gasoline with an 87 to 88 octane. Diesel fuel is fuel used for internal combustion in diesel engines.
