Nebraska Gasoline and Diesel Prices

Nebraska's retail gasoline price decreased 4 cents from last week to $2.10 with metro prices ranging from $2.05 in Columbus to $2.10 in Kearney and North Platte.  This week's state average was 9 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  As of May 13, the Midwest gasoline stock level was above the normal range at 53 million barrels after a large build of 1.3-million barrels.

The state average retail diesel price decreased 4 cents from last week to $2.21 per gallon with metro prices ranging from $2.15 in Lincoln to $2.23 in Kearney.  According to the weekly price report, this week's state average is 42 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  The Midwest distillate fuel inventory level was at the bottom of the normal range as of May 13.
