Nebraska Gasoline and Diesel Prices

Nebraska's retail gasoline price decreased one penny from last week to $2.21 with metro prices ranging from $2.16 in Columbus and Grand Island to $2.23 in Norfolk.  This week's state average was 41 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  As of April 22, the Midwest gasoline stock level was near the upper boundary of the normal range with 51.4 million barrels.

National diesel prices have continued to rise each week, while the state's price fell 2 cents last week and had no change this week.  The state average retail diesel price remains at $2.32 per gallon with metro prices ranging from $2.27 in Columbus to $2.33 in Kearney.  According to the weekly price report, this week's state average is 56 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  The Midwest distillate fuel inventory level was below the normal range as of April 22.
