Nebraska Gasoline and Diesel Prices

Nebraska's retail gasoline price increased 6 cents from last week to $2.20 with metro prices ranging from $2.17 in Columbus, Grand Island, and Kearney to $2.26 in North Platte.  Weekly averages for Lincoln and Omaha were 6 cents higher while Norfolk's average was 8 cents higher than last week.  This week's state average was 46 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  As of March 25, the Midwest gasoline stock level was above the normal range with 53.8 million barrels.

The state average retail diesel price rose 2 cents from last week to $2.28 per gallon with Nebraska's metro prices ranging from $2.18 in Columbus to $2.30 in Lincoln.  According to the weekly price report, this week's state average is 61 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  The Midwest distillate fuel inventory level continued at the lower boundary of the normal range as of March 25.
