Nebraska's retail gasoline price fell a penny from last
week to $1.76 although the price is still 19% higher than last year at this time. Metro prices
ranged from $1.70 in Columbus to $1.82 in Grand Island. The Midwest gasoline stock level fell
but remains in the upper boundary of the normal range.
The state average retail diesel price had no change from last week and remains at $1.98 per
gallon and 29% higher than last year. Nebraska's metro diesel prices ranged from $1.93 in
Columbus to $2.00 in Kearney. The Midwest distillate fuel inventory level increased but
remains below the normal range.
