Nebraska's retail gasoline price fell 2 cents from last week to $1.77 although the price is still 20% higher than last year at this time. Metro prices ranged from $1.72 in Omaha and Columbus to $1.85 in Grand Island. The Midwest gasoline stock level rose to the upper boundary in the normal range.
The state average retail diesel price fell a penny from last week to $1.98 per gallon while remaining 29% higher than last year. Nebraska's metro diesel prices ranged from $1.95 in Columbus to $2.01 in Kearney. The Midwest distillate fuel inventory level increased but remains below the normal range.
