Nebraska Gasoline and Diesel Prices

According to the Energy Information Administration, refiners are running on all cylinders at 94 percent capacity, and high profit margins should motivate continued high runs into 2005.

Nebraska's average retail price of gasoline inched up a penny to $1.93 with metro prices ranging from $1.89 in Columbus to $2.00 in North Platte.  Midwest gasoline stock levels remain in the normal range.

Nebraska's metro diesel prices ranged from $2.09 in Norfolk and Lincoln to $2.13 in North Platte and Omaha with the state average increasing another penny to $2.12 per gallon.  Midwest distillate fuel inventories remain below the normal range.  It has been warm in heating oil states for several weeks making on-road diesel the clear driver of nationwide distillate demand.
