A record high was set again this week in North Platte at $2.11 per gallon. Nebraska's average retail price of gasoline had no change from last week remaining at $2.01 with metro prices ranging from $1.94 in Columbus to $2.08 in North Platte. This week Midwest gasoline stock levels eased back into the normal range.
Nebraska's metro diesel prices ranged from $2.05 in Columbus to $2.25 in Kearney resulting in the state average increasing 4 cents to $2.20 per gallon. All seven of the metro areas again set new record high levels this week while Midwest distillate fuel inventories fell below the normal range.
