Annual Report on U.S. Wind Power Installation, Cost, and Performance Trends: 2006
2006 Annual Report on U.S. Wind Power Installation,
Cost, and Performance Trends
The wind power industry is in the midst of substantial growth and, with the market evolving at such a rapid pace, it has become increasingly difficult to keep up with trends in the marketplace.
The report, 2006 Annual Report on U.S. Wind Power Installation, Cost, and Performance Trends, is the first in what is envisioned to be an ongoing annual series, and attempts to fill this need by providing a detailed overview of developments and trends in the U.S. wind power industry, with a particular focus on 2006. Authored by Ryan Wiser and Mark Bolinger of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the report provides detailed data on actual wind power installation, cost and performance trends. The report was issued in May 2007 and produced for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
